It seems that Zepto wants to be a king in super portable devices market. The Zepto Notus A12 retails for a hefty $1,360 and boasts a super long battery life for up to 10 hours on a single charge.

Lenovo Ideapad S-series Price Cut

Lenovo has cut the price tag of its IdeaPad S-series range of netbooks from $50 to $80, depending on the model. The basic black or white IdeaPad S10s now retails for $349, meanwhile the custom-colored S10s is priced at $359. In case you didn’t know, these netbooks feature 10.2 inch LED-backlit LCD display with Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 80GB hard drive, Wi-Fi connectivity, 512MB RAM, and Microsoft Windows XP Home OS.

Hercules has upgraded the Le eCafe to a model codenamed EC-900. This model comes with a decent screen that measures 8.9-inches, 6-cell battery, microphone, SDHC memory card slot, and an Intel Atom N720 at 1.6Ghz. It is priced at €330.

Medion Releases Akoya E1210 Netbook

According to rumors, a UK superstore will release the Medion Akoya E1210 netbook that retails for just £272. This 10 inch netbook offers TFT widescreen display with Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 160GB SATA hard drive and Microsoft Windows XP operating system. The device will be powered by a 3-cell battery and will accompany with a 3-year warranty.

NEC VersaPro UltraLight VC Notebook

NEC Japan will release its new VersaPro UltraLight VC notebook in January 2009. The notebook features a 12.1 inch LCD display at WXGA resolution with either Intel Celeron 723 or Core 2 Duo SU9300 processor. Other features include 1GB RAM, 80GB hard drive, Intel GS45 Express chipset, Wi-Fi connectivity, Fingerprint sensor, Felica port and SD memory card slot. You can also choose Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business OS. However, I am not sure the Celeron processor will be able to handle Windows Vista OS. The NEC VersaPro UltraLight VC Notebook is priced at €1,200 upwards, depending on the configuration.

Clevo’s 18.4-inch M98xNU Gaming Laptop

There is no info on pricing so far.

he VR603 is the latest 15 inch notebook from MSI that features standard specification. The laptop offers Intel Dual-Core / Celeron Processor, up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, a 15.4 inch 1280 x 800 WXGA display, GMA X4500MHD Graphics, and 1.3MP webcam. Other features include 802.11 b/g/n Wireless, Bluetooth, supports max. of 320GB HDD, DVD Burner and Windows Vista Home Premium. No word on pricing at this time.
